- Protected from exposure to fire or radiant heat of the sun. No issues with ambient temperature related pressure problems. Sub-surface storage provides a safe and static temperature environment.
- Resistant to freeze ups or embrittlement due to sub-zero temperatures at high latitudes in the winter.
- Resistant to hydrogen embrittlement with purpose designed components.
- Failure resistant design. Any blast or release of gas will be directed vertically out of harms way. Limited lateral extent to an uncontrolled release.
